ClearFeed collects minimal data necessary to provide its services:

• Usage Data: Time spent on tracked platforms (YouTube) stored locally on your device
• Settings: Your preferences and configuration choices
• Account Data (optional): Email address if you create an account for cloud sync

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Display your usage statistics and progress
• Apply your content filtering preferences
• Send time reminders and notifications (when enabled)
• Sync your settings across devices (if you have an account)
• Improve the Extension based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns

3. Data Storage

Local Storage: Most data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device unless you enable cloud sync.

Cloud Storage (optional): If you create an account, your settings and usage data may be synced to our secure cloud servers (Supabase) to enable cross-device synchronization.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

ClearFeed does NOT collect:

• Your browsing history
• Content of videos you watch
• Your personal information (beyond email for accounts)
